Being on a keto diet doesn’t mean you have to give up everything sweet. It seems that a limit of 20-50 grams of carbs a day can be challenging and stop you from eating your favorite food, but it’s not like that. We tried to find the best five keto-friendly desserts for you with a sweet tooth so you can keep your daily carb intake as low as possible and lose weight at the same time. Here are five of the Keto Desserts: 

1. Pumpkin Cheesecake 

Ingredients: 

For the crust
  • 1 ½ cup of almond flour
  • ¼ cup of coconut flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 7 tsp of melted butter 
  • ½ tsp of cinnamon

For the filling 

  • 8 oz of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • Three eggs
  • ½ tsp of ginger
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

For decoration

  • Whipped cream 
  • Toasted pecans

Preparation:  

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, combine almond and coconut flour, cinnamon, salt, and melted butter. Mix it all together and put it into an 8” pan. Bake it until it gets a golden color or 10-15 minutes.

While you are baking the crust, make a filling. Mix all those ingredients for the filling with the spatula. Pour the mixture into the pan and continue baking for one hour. Let it cool and replace it in the fridge. Use pecans and whipped cream for decoration. 

2. Chocolate Muffins 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of almond flour
  • ¾ cup of cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup of sweetener
  • 1 ½ tsp of baking powder
  • 1 cup of melted butter 
  • Three eggs
  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix everything in a large bowl and fold in chocolate chips. Put the mixture in the special muffin pan and bake for 12 minutes. 

3. Cookies 

Ingredients: 

  • Two large eggs
  • ½ cup of melted butter
  • 2 tsp of whipped cream
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract 
  • Two ¾ cups of almond flour
  • ¼ cup of keto-friendly sugar
  • ¾ cup of chocolate chips

Preparation: 

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients in the medium bowl until you get the perfect mixture. Add chocolate chips and start creating 1” balls and placing them on the baking sheet. Bake them for 15-20 minutes. 

4. Ice Cream 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of canned coconut milk
  • ⅓ of erythritol
  • 1 ½ tsp of vanilla extract
  • Fruits or chocolate to taste

Preparation:

Stir together sweetener, milk, and vanilla extract. Put the mixture into the mold for ice cubes and leave it in the freezer. Blend it all together and add fruits or chocolate to taste. 

5. Avocado Pudding

Ingredients:

  • Two avocados
  • 3 tsp of almond milk
  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Preparation: 

Slice two avocados into the bowl. Add milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. If you prefer something sweet, add stevia or another sweetener to taste. Mix it and make sure there are no avocado lumps anymore. Put it into the fridge and serve wherever you are ready.
